GN Weld bead (blender 4.3)

A geometry node system for generating optimized weld meshes over edges with attribute.

Create an edge attribute on your mesh then set the attribute name in the GN modifier. It ll generate the weld bead mesh on each edges you have setuped with this attribute.

the GN modifier is linked with the weld material so you can tweek it from the modifier's interface.

Optionaly, there is a metal material that read the edge attribute to change the surface under the bead.
